Venkman's is the new home of ATL's most legendary jazz jam, hosted by Joe Gransden and his house band every Tuesday. Dinner reservations are available from 5:30p, sign-ups start around 8:30p and music starts around 9p. Everyone is welcome and it's free!Venkman's features half-price bottles of wine on Tuesdays, and happy hour from 5:30p-7p with $2 Miller High Lifes, $5 well drinks and $7 classic cocktails. Based out of Atlanta, GA, Moontower has been playing the local music scene for over 5 years, sharing the stage with artists like Jeff Sipe, Whiskey Gentry, Yacht Rock Revue, Devon Allman, and Grant Green Jr. Moontower's music does not fit into one genre; it is best described as a mix of Rock, Acoustic, Jam, Blues and Disco. The band developed by the simple fact of good friends getting together to do what they love: play music. Moontower released their debut album in March 2012. Singer, songwriter and rock n roll soul siren Rosey proclaimed The Lovechild of Robert Plant and Rickie Lee Jones by Entertainment Weekly, first received international attention with her major label debut, Dirty Child (Island/Def Jam). Rosey appeared regularly on the pages of Billboard Magazine & Rolling Stone as a pioneer in the Urban Rock scene. She performed her Funky Rock & Roll on The Tonight Show, was shot by Annie Leibovitz for Vanity Fair, toured alongside acts such as Morcheeba & Melissa Etheridge and made several appearances on her beloved KCRWs Morning Becomes Eclectic. Roseys music has been licensed to numerous TV shows & film soundtracks including bridget Jones Diary, Shallow Hal with opening credits on Something New by Sanaa Hamri. Her voice & words have been featured along side the likes of Reggie Watts, Beat Ventriloquists, Hilary Duff, Govinda & Susto, many of whom she also co-wrote, recorded & engineered tracks with including, Kelis, Raphael Saadiq, David Ryan Harris & Phillip Bailey. Chances are good youve heard her voice in some popular TV jingles. The past few years have found her hiding out in the greater Atlanta area of Georgia, where she has immersed herself in culture, started an organic farm, a musical collective and opened her own professional recording studio, working with amazing artists of all genres, while also engineering and producing her own records.
